I found Bounty Hunter Wars to be entertaining..

Boba Fett climbs out of the Sarlacc Pit, armor nearly disintegrated, and goes on to fuck ass.

The Thrawn trilogy also features Mara Jade, a force sensitive drone of the Empire who becomes Lukes wife after he beats her good and tag teams her with his clone, Luuke, like a woman deserves.

In the same vein tales of Jabba's palace is alright. I think the short story collections are the most entertaining personally. Also man/rancor love and more Boba Fett.

A collection of short stories would be right up my alley. I'm not exactly gonna pour into these things, just gonna peek at them every now and then.

I'm currently reading Legacy of the Force.

The entire series is pretty great. It explores the crumbling foundations of a new galactic government about 40 years after RoTJ. The next generation of Skywalkers and Solos are pivotal, but it also includes the next generation of Mandalorians.

Different planets are tearing themselves apart over the instability in this failed Galactic Alliance.
Han and Leia's kid Jacen is at the center of it. Without giving too much away, he is basically going down a really bad path by overcomplicating a bunch of prophetic nonsense that spoils his head.

Read 'em. I've found almost every single copy at my local library branches.
