Get something from Nietzsche, maybe Beyond Good and Evil as well as Zarathustra.

Get Dostoyevski's Brothers Karamazov.

Those aside, get something comfy like Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun (I suggest all 5 books, instead of the 4 original ones).

The farm/retreat/escape feels like a cheap way of ultimately solving every problem. I think with a year of clarity, reflection and self discipline, it can decrease the disparity between inner and outer selves.

I want to be free from the infinite distractions in my daily life, negative cycles of thought and cycle of constantly relapsing and being reborn anew.

The problem is I know what is right yet I intentionally do what is wrong. Like smoking a cigarette; you know its fucked up but you do it anyway.
