Name a more influential philosopher of the 90s-present era.
>Biggest post-Moldbug influence of neoreaction
>Arguably creator of technocommercialism
>Creator of accelerationism (both left and right wing strains)
>Inspired the creation of speculative realism and object oriented ontology
>Inspired the creation of theory fiction
>Created black deleuzianism
>Major influence on British electonica including Jungle and Dubstep, along with other forms of art
And I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff.

>Creator of accelerationism (both left and right wing strains)
This is true and also possibly the dumbest fact of the 21st century. Both sides of the most interesting ideological contest in the world rn were originated by the same guy. It's like the world we live in is all just an allegory for this one dude's psychological conflicts.

>doesn't have a SEP article
heh, kid...
>>
>>9261476
To be fair, right now he takes a stance on the right side of this conflict and I'm not sure of any other prominent thinkers taking that stance while many of his protégés stay on the left side.
>>
>>9261595
They probably refuse to write an article about him beacaue he's too "problematic."

Where's a good place to dive into Accelerationism and Land's writings (that's in print) after reading online essays.

I wanted to get Fanged Noumena or some issues of Collapse, but most are out of print and I can't decide on which issues of the latter to get.

Any recommendations?
>>
>>9261785
Fanged Noumena is still in print from Sequence Press. his older writings are word salads that seem to try and be as non-lucid as possible, so I'm not sure how much it matters where you "dive in".

On a metaphysical (and cybernetic) level, that would be Origen.

Since evil (in a christian sense) is destructive by nature, it will eventually destroy itself. The expulsion of Adam and Eve from Eden was not an act of punishment, but the beginning of a process for the restitution for both the mankind and the demons and shit like that. Sin is both destructive and creative, so it's propagation will eventually lead us to ascencion. The original sin was necessary because it is accelerating evil's self-destruction.
I might be painting a tainted version Origen because I only know him through the eyes of his critics, but I think that there are some parallels between his theology and accelerationism (specially in a strict marxist view).
Also, Origen's views were a big influence for De Maistre.
>>
>>9261026
Almost exactly as if he was the Nietzsche of our age. Influential in a wide variety of areas when alive but unrecognized until long after death. Good thing we're socially incompetent enough to get in on it when it's cool

>>
>>9262867
He's literally Nietzsche.
>>
>>9262861
How can he be a Christian though if he interprets sin as a good thing?

That quote from de Maistre is one of my favorite quotes ever by the way.
>>
>>9262861
That doesn't sound like Origen to me.

Kode9, electronic musician and founder of influential Hyperdub label, studied under/with Land during his CCRU years.

Not too shabby.

He's not the inventor of left-wing accelerationism. This thought can be traced back to Marx himself.

>>9265350
Marxist accelerationism isn't really the same as contemporary accelerationism.

OP said influenced jungle which is patently false. Jungle lived and died well before Hyperdub was started and Hyperdub has released limited jungle related material - at most footwork at the same BPM with a breaks influence.
