I've read A Drifting Life, and it's definitely okay. The story is not that compelling, but the one thing I remember being struck by was just the sheer number of panels that included other comics of varying styles within them. I think his shorter collections are a bit more meaningful, but A Drifting Life is stunning in its own way.
