Does /lit/ take notes on books, use post-it notes or other tools to highlight certain passagens? I'm thinking of doing a careful analysis of a certain trilogy from a local writer and wondered how I could organize my reading. I've got a bunch of post-it notes from different sizes/colors/shapes and want to use them effectively. I also bought a small notebook to jot down a few of my thoughts about the novels. Are there any English majors here who have done in-depth analysis of books? How did you approach the work in question?
Please respond.

Why? You can always easily come again onto those passages.

It comes in really handy when reading the Bible, especially a king James version. Sometimes I'll put a piece of paper that sticks out so I don't forget to reread.

That's your problem right there. There are only failures on here
