Just finished William Gibson's Neuromancer and found it really comfy.
Should I just move through his body of work or are there other (ideally contemporary) cyberpunk books you'd recommend?

Read the next book in the series f.am. It doesn't stop at Neuromancer you dummy.

Altered Carbon is best of the best.

oh man, what's the deal with Nemesis the Warlock? I saw someone else (maybe you?) post a pic on lit a few weeks ago. Is it any good? The little I read about it sounded fascinating.

The stories are mostly independent of each other just part of a shared universe afaik.

there are passing references to Neuromancer in Count Zero.
I don't think there are many cyberpunk books worth reading but Gibson authors some of the best of them.

yeah it's insanely awesome if you're into 2000 AD stuff.

Nevertheless, just reading the succeeding two books in the trilogy would still be part of working through Gibson's work, which is what OP wanted to do.
