Then her family, like the rest of the aristocracy, were over thrown and deposed. Fast forward a couple decades and she creates a philosophy that allows all of the atrocities under the Russian aristocracy, because she wants to get back at the people she sees as ruining her life. I feel like approximately 95% of the people who dislike Ayn Rand is bad haven't read her. I often see people making completely nonsensical criticisms of both her ideas and writing. There are of course many legitimate criticisms to be made, but you have to read her first for fucks' sake. Funnily enough, the situation is pretty similar when it comes to Marx.
