How is your relation to dictionaries when reading a book in your mother tongue?

I keep OED open on my laptop in front of me when I read, I tend to look up words unless i'm about 80% sure what they mean. I know an "8 out of 10" in certainty is really subjective, but it's kind of how it feels to me.
When I read in Hebrew (I took it for 5 years in school, lived in Israel for 6 months, and really enjoy Hebrew literature) I use a dictionary religiously. People like to sacrifice understanding for speed... it's kind of dumb, and once you get accustomed to looking up words you don't know it's not so bad or slow
