want to read even more but my local librabries don't have books I would like to read (they have none nietzsche, dostoievski, or goethe per example - don't know what they really have on shelves) and also poorfag
so any recommendations for reader apps on android? free apps if possible (I don't really like to read on my monitor screen with downloaded books)

Your library might be willing to purchase books if you request them. Lots of libraries have forms or webpages for such requests.

There is bookzz.org as posted in the sticky.
Which I astonishingly found a couple of fairly obscure works I was after. Uploaded them to my drive so I could read on my phone in bed. Have you tried the "prestigio ereader" in the play store?? I'm going to have a look at it, says it's compatible with a lot of formats which'll be ideal for me as i download what I want in whatever format I can get it

I often use the Prestigio eReader app while taking a shit. Works fine. No problems with .mobi- and .epub-formats. While importing there are all kinds of formats to choose from.

Tbh I'm struggling atm, I opted for moonreader instead and it isn't opening a mobi file from drive.. I need to look at how to use it... as i speak it has opened the mobi file on my laptop with notepad and it's all over the place! undecipherable!
