My Twisted World by Elliot Roger is the obvious answer.

Is Elliott part of the western or eastern canon due to his Oriental genes and tendencies?

Unironically, it is a work of new sincerity.
Despite its obvious flaws, I honestly think it will be a work to be studied in a hundred years.
I really cannot think of a real life justification for mass murder in manifesto form that captures the zeitgeist of a cultural subset. Edited together by a competent author like Murakami did for Underground, with a decent non-fiction narrative of the aftermath, I think it would be a fantastic product of sincere literature.
