>Part 5 Chapter 5
Is this the peak of 19th century literature? I should just stop reading there, it won't get better than that. I'm glad I didn't dropped it, when Rodion lied in his bed for 70 pages.

Spoken like a true pseud.
Is that the interrogation scene?
it's a good book but it's not that good.
giving any canon classic that much prestige is just lazy. at least bother properly exploring russian lit.

you are sincerely right, deep and complex and heady and symphonic emotional experience is largely the reason, joy, goodness, purpose, desire of reading, and the most difficult and challenging art, and purpose, of writing: for an average person just may go around life and the world as a stick figure, only seeing the shadowy surface, not thinking or 'emphasizing too much', with others or things; and for a writer to over the course of much time, deeply embed you into a world, into a person, and the world, and people into you, is the magic and value of literature.
The only reason I said what I said was two fold, I needed a quick excuse as to why I really wanted to see some content of what OP was talking about and needed to prove to him he should not resist doing such for the reason of it spoiling it for me, as I genuinely do not care about plot being spoiled (in literature at least, movies, sports, are another story), and 2, because this is one of the most difficult aspects of writing to me, something I hate doing (because to me it feels that puppetry, smoke and mirror, fake, manipulative as I mentioned) and my writing is shite due to it *read sobbingly*
