i know that we're having a giggly-haha-hoohoo moment here but if watching smart people act like stupid assholes bothers you then you really shouldn't pursue an academic career because oh my god it is so bad

i mean it's like a gaggle of fourteen year old girls it's so fucking embarrassing. like you know at least when a kid acts like a kid you get that but these are very smart very well educated people so and again i really mean this if that kind of thing bothers you you should NOT absolutely should NOT pursue a career in academia
