How do people read books like Huck Finn? Reading all of the incorrect forms of verbs makes me cringe and I don't consider myself to be a Grammar Nazi by any means.

Like reading Spenser or Shakespeare, one accustoms oneself to certain usages then gets into the rhythm of it. Personally, I think it's a great book, holds up over time unlike, say-- Gatsby, which is a novel for boys. It's okay to dismiss a classic or two, but be careful--
