Hey /lit/, can you recommend me some good stories about the topic of solitude in space?
Never been really into sci-fi that much, but I'm truly interested in this matter. If possible, I'd prefer those to be short stories, but novels are welcome too.

2001: a space odyssey
The sequels get progressively worse but Clarke does have his moments.
Also, if you're up for nonfiction, really the only book you need is "Pale blue dot" by carl sagan. It's a detailed tour of the solar system from the perspective of a lonely voyager satellite.
This one always struck me as a "trapped in/by your own mind" story although it's not specifically about isolation.
