There's that word again.
"only care about themselves" is incorrect, basic human need is intimacy and social connection. That's why in this age with lots of leisure time for first world comfortable people you have people who are genuinely upset with their lot in life despite having literally nothing to do.
It's been demonstrated to me by all the sciences and my experience that the most fulfilled people are the ones who give themselves to a task or person honestly. People who act in 'self-interest' alone and just fap all day are literally the most upset with life.
