Is the only way to improve reading comprehension, speed and focus to read more? My attention is so fucked up from years of television, internet, video games and porn. I'm quitting all of those and reading, how long before my mind readjusts?

Pretty much, but if you're already reading at a decent pace (at about the speed you can talk) then you could try speedreading. google spreeder and follow their instructions. It can help some people.

Is that real? I always thought that was quackery. I read some article about how reading comprehension is actually improved when you read a paragraph from top left to bottom right within about 3/5 seconds. Seems retarded.
