hey lads. i'm a very big fan of Dick and am always looking for literature that is similar, or at least abides by a similar set of ethos. so i'm wondering, does the annual PKD award actually honor works in a Dick-ian tradition, or is it just another general sci-fi accolade?

The Philip K. Dick Award is for paperback originals in the sf genre
It is not necessarily for works like his
Just works that were overlooked, as his often first were, and have gone straight to the mass market edition

i've actually read that one and enjoyed it quite a bit, mostly for its energetic prose and noir style. in fact, neuromancer is what brought my attention to the PKD award.

Bump for interest, just began in Divine Invasion followed by The transmigration of Timothy archer.
After that I've read the library of America novel collection, So I'm missing some short stories.
