just finished reading norwegian wood
couldnt put it down
plus i didnt want to do my law school readings
absolutely loved it
what were your thoughts? feelings? comments?
what book similar to norweign wood should i pick up next?
i heard murakami's other works are unlike norweign wood, a lot more "magical" as some say, and im unsure if i would like that, since some who were a fan of his more "murakami" books did not like norwegian wood

All of Murakami's books are melancholic as fuck. So if you liked this, you'll probably like the rest of his catalog.
i had the same feeling with wind-up bird chronicle
i just couldnt get enough of the atmosphere
You should probably check this out OP

Maybe savage detectives but in a totally different way
after some research, im wondering which one i should start next
Wind Up Bird Chronicle or Sputnik Sweetheart?

If you want to read Norwegian Wood you should reread Norwegian Wood, I recommend Kafka at the Shore, it's different but also recognizeably Murakami and puts his writing into a better and more surrealistic context, I enjoyed it much more than NW
