>40 novels in 10 weeks
I like reading and this is way more than I could do myself, so that seems weird.

I think anon might be exaggerating.
Although, if taking all English units, I guess it could happen.
The most I've had to read was about 22-23 novels in 13 weeks.
You had better find some good abridged audio books, cause 40 books in 10 weeks is going to be rough. (That's four novels a week!)

Well, most students skip half the books and read Sparknotes type-summaries, and try to bluff their way through exams while more or less plagiarizing their essays.

This is what happened to me. I wanted to study film, or media production so I took English.
I fucking love literature now though, so hopefully this will happen to you.
After I finished my English degree, I found out they did actually have a dedicated film stream, I just missed it on the website. Oh well.

it's 4 subjects and each subject has 1 novel assigned each week
they run for 12 weeks but fortunately 2 of those weeks are exam weeks with no reading assigned
Just buy this book and you'll be fine, OP.
