Sade's whole philosophy rests on a rejection, affront, against Christianity. This guys whole life was based on taking revenge on his spooks, not casting them out and beginning again afresh. His actions are based on the rejection of God, not on some sophisticated expropriation of the world around him. Even if it's commendable, maybe he was a maverick- but there's nothing really next level.
