I liked it. Not all of it, but I found it interesting and I'd like to read it again sometime. I also loved the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. Granted, I was around 15-16 at the time and OBSESSED with zombies and firearms. Semi-auto>full-auto.

Hah, nice trips but I fucking WISH I was Max Brooks. The money he must have from those two books alone, one of which having been made into a movie. I hear the movie sucked and wasn't really based on the book much, if at all, but surely he's made a few million by now. Not a billionaire like that SJW J. K. Rowling, but a respectable sum, and if he were to write more then I'm sure it would sell well thanks to the success of those two books. I've got two books self-published, one of which is a zombie survival novel, and so far I've gotten a whopping 3 sales in 4 months.
