What is the most convincing purportedly true work on ghosts or the occult?
I was a big hans holzer fan, but reading him as an adult, its like looking at a 70s real estate manual.

because it is short and to the point and pretty creepy
a lot of other creepy pasta i've read (which is not that much) has to much overhead in terms of setup and character introduction, which would theoretically be okay, but if you're an amateur, writing short stuff doesn't require as much writing skill as a longer piece would.

Nah it's dumb. Picture makes it even dumber. The only good creepypasta I've read is a short one with a hotel keyhole.

I don't know. I think it was an /x/ post. Don't have the picture but it went something like:
>guy in hotel
>hears about weird room with girl who hasn't left
>peeps in the keyhole and sees her in the corner looking spoopy
>peeps in the keyhole again later and sees red tape covering it
>later someone tells him her eyes are completely to be red
>>9132847
*known to be completely red
Not gonna lie, I'm spooked as fuck rn
