Hey /lit/ I want to get back into reading, used to be a bookworm as a kid.
I find myself having a much harder time creating the "mental image" as I did as a kid, will the skill come back with practice or am I just fucked?
Any recommendations for some easy to read but great books?sorry for being a brainlet
Neuromancer - William Gibson
The Name of the Wind - Patrick RothfussBottoms Dream

Ficciones - Jorge Luis Borges
That is the book that brought me back to the /lit/ world.
The Greeks
Jack London does a great job if you like adventure novels. Call of the Wild and White Fang are popular. Recently I read a collection of his excerpts and his sailing stories as well the ones about the Klondike are excellent.

Obligatory "Read the Greeks", because you should.
HOWEVER
Begin with Short Stories- maybe even poems (yeah yeah, I know >poems, ((You)) etc.) This will get you back into reading in general. Get a short story compilation or something in a genre that interests you.
