If you're a physichalist/materialist: all consciousness is the arrangement of matter, so it is not unreasonable for your consciousness to manifest over and over again in a long enough time frame.

Idealist: There's no reason to believe the mind/body relation occurs solely once, outside of Abrahamic religions I suppose.
