I like my books to have a timeless look. When they print some journalist who i couldn't care less about his opinion on the cover it just reeks of cheapness to me.

My country's version of amazon. I know most books have proper hardcover clean prints but as a poor student i'll have to bite my tounge for now.
It's just a stupid pet peeve feeling of mine anyway. I've switched to ebooks for everything but history books.

Isn't there a large market for second hand books in your country?
I've fished so many classics out of charity shop bargain bins for 50p a pop that I've gotten quite a respectable collection.

Yeah there are some second hand book shops but i prefer English prints. Rare to find those.
