holy fucking shit, I swear to god I can not get around e-books. I know they are "free", they are mobile and has several advantages but I just can't do it. finished a ulysses yesterday, read 150 pages over the weekend (ithaca saturday, penelope sunday [what a fucking delicious end by the way]), planed on reading a goddamned 200 pages book in pc using Kindle and like everytime I've tried to tackle an e-book I just procrastinated all day thinking about the book. If the book isn't there for me to hold I just can't get going..and its not even autismo to buy the book and expose it in my shelf, I actually borrow a lot of books...

I separate my e books and physical books on if I'm gonna reference it often. Most fiction I download because most fiction I read once and move on expect for a few. Non fiction like philosophy, books on architecture/music/art and history I keep because I'll read and reread those books for years, especially dense history books like "Europe's tragedy" because I can just open any chapter and dive in
One advantage books do have over ebooks is the ability to annotate and highlight sections of a physical book. How do you annotate on an e-book?

You can highlight and add notes on the kindle
I just bought a Kindle. Is it possible to pirate books?
>>9072830
yes. download them any format and use calibre to convert them to MOBI.

I'm the opposite. the best experience I had reading on my computer was nonfiction. they were pretty short books though but I feel ya, I see why to keep a non fiction book, I read on my computers basically because a) couldn't find the book, b) it was too expensive, c) and/or shitty translation
