Philosophers are such hacks.

I've arrived at plenty a philosophical concept independently only to later find out about some wrinkled old guy who came up with the same idea.

There's no doubt in my mind these people are given credit for way more than they deserve. They got a little from here and a little from there, slapped a label onto it and got famous through sheer luck and by appealing to popular trends.

Yet people worship them like they are some kind of deities descended from the sky bringing brand new shit to the table.

They did not.

Literally nobody is worshiping philosophers.

this is literally exemplified in another thread i was on, but i wonder if you come to that conclusion genuinely independently, or does the philosopher and culture itself hold such an influence over you that it is inevitable for you to come to these conclusions seemingly of your own volition, when in fact it's an inceptionesque germination of seeds planted by these genius predecessors, shapers of civilization as we know it? best thing to consider is the possibility of hubris clouding your judgement.
