i love me some Berlin Bowie. those first two Iggy albums along with Low, Heroes, and to a lesser extent, Lodger, are the pinnacle of both careers. they were definitely experimental but within the pop spectrum of the day. the only other album that compares by Bowie is Outside, which he also did with Eno.
