what's your problem with Penguin publishing? excluding translated works
Stop inventing problems where there aren't any.

Their deluxe editions with the deckled edges are just pure cancer. That and their paperbacks as a whole have a relatively mediocre print quality. Definitely not my first choice for anything other than impulse buys or things only they still publish/published at a reasonable price.

What's your first choice then? I've been looking to make the transition from ebooks to paper but i don't know which publishers are good

Literally anything else I see in paperback or hardcover for a reasonable price. Certain books/authors aren't really published by more than one or two companies anymore (or ever) so looking for specific imprints is usually a waste of time unless you're only intent on reading very famous, widely published authors.

You are a fucking moron if you think that anything else reasonably priced should be bought before penguin books. Enjoy your wordsworth classics faggot.
I wasn't thinking about wordsworth or anything that dirt cheap because I've only even seen them IRL in one store and even that place only seemed to have a few as novelty items for hipsters.
nothing against it. some retards say they are poor quality and don't last, all the penguins i have are from '70~'00 and they are in excellent condition

Of course they would be if you don't actually read them.
