Stop being fucking ashamed of what you did, just look at it and tell yourself "wow, I went quite a long way from back there" or "ok, that's a reminder of how I should NOT do it".

I know you have high expectations of yourself, and you think you can deliver an opus dei on your first try, but honestly, those writings will be a minor detail of history once you are published; they could even serve as an example that even the shittiest writer can deliver. Hell, nobody even needs to know about them, if you prefer to burn these.

I once found three short stories I wrote in high school and every single one of them ended with the central figure committing suicide. I can't believe I was really that boring of a write. Eh, guess it's why I don't write creatively anymore.

I'm confronting Forever ending today.
