Just finished this. How the fuck am I supposed to spend the rest of my day? What do you do with yourself after reading something like that ending?
Sit and stare blankly in silent, transcendental contemplation.
Pick up something else if there's time, otherwise shitpost jack off and sleep.

binned that shit and moved on to the next meme

>What do you do with yourself after reading something like that ending?
Have ye tried squatting down to eat a tortilla and drink coffee?

Go to the desert and get spooked by lightning
Contact James Franco and beg him not to make the film version he wants to do

I felt lost in this book sometimes, is that common? I liked it, but sometimes I kind of lost track of people or something.
>>9045172
I did too. Probably pretty normal. I thought it was a really well done book, slow at times but good. About 2/3s of the way through is when I really started to really feel the emotional depravity of the book which continued onward until the end when I just felt dead inside.

Franco needs to stop bastardizing books with his awful adaptations. He's doing In Dubious Battle now, and I'm sick of his shit.
>>9045079
I got drunk and went to bed. Up to you though.
>>9045240
Did you see his "The Sound and the Fury"? I stopped it within 10 minutes.
>>9045252
It's not so much that Franco was bad as it was that adapting Sound and the Fury into a movie was stupid from the start.
>>9045252
I stopped less than halfway into the trailer when i saw his portrayal of beji
>>9045262
True. He's just too ambitious.
i've seen a lot of horror films and played many more horror video games.
blood meridian is the scariest fucking thing i've ever experienced.
>>9045252
I haven't. Was it really that bad?
>>9045290
It's not ambition, it's more like a lack of appreciation for good prose and common sense.

He does this for all his movie adaptations, it's like watching someone's bad home movie parodies of classic literature.
