Does /lit/ tend to write one book at a time or two (or more) simultaneously?

This is a good question. I like to write a draft of a novel (or a "batch" of short stories) and then put it aside to, so to speak, let the paint dry on it a little. Otherwise I get burnt out and can't look at the work objectively anymore. In the meantime I work on another large project or group of small projects. It might seem counterproductive, and it sure makes publication go a lot slower, but lots of writers have done this in the past. I found out recently that John Gardner had written four or five novels before his first one saw print, and after the fact all his prior novels got published as well. So be patient, have heart, ignore first post.

lit tends to write zero books at a time

What do people like about feet?

I've got plenty of small draft concepts on the go, but I only keep one continuous attempt at an actual book. Takes me a few years to write a novella but I enjoy the pace.

I can't write enough before I delete it. Remember the Frasier episode with the big author who only wrote one book, and had a manuscript for another, but Frasier and Niles said it was like Dante's Inferno? And then the author threw the book away?

Like that but without being good. Prob take another stab after finishing Don Quixote the Meme Knight.

I write multiple drafts simultaneously. When one starts to feel stale, I just move on to another that inspires me, or start a new one, and return to the previous when I get fresh ideas again. Trying to force it will go nowhere, but I can't just sit still and wait for magic to happen either.

They're sexually dimorphic, usually kept hidden, soft, and sensitive. Having one's feet exposed was considered humiliating in a lot of different cultures, so for some there's a BDSM like appeal to the vulnerability of soles. For others it's the opposite, they want to be treated like a footstool.

I'm honestly not 100% sure why I have all the fetishes I do.
