Is there a cannon for internet content? Who have been the great shitposters of History? Where can I read their work? Literature adapted to the printing press, giving birth to the novel. 60 years after gutenberg we had Don Quixote. You would expect things to move a bit faster this time.

good stuff.
don't know what's gonna happen tho
The internet as an information technology is, in fact, too fast for cannonicity as a quality to arise in internet content. The current amount of content is too vast, much more content is uploaded and created everyday than is possible for any individual to process, and indeed the means of access to content are too open for a cannon to be established and curated as it has been with other media.

I reckon /pol/ is one of the most creative forces I've ever come across. Example?
This happened yesterday:

pic related is what the little fuckers created in the space of less than a day.
can't argue with creativity.
