This. I got one, now everyone wants a piece of me. With a 300ppi resolution, the Kindle Paperwhite is a no-brainer purchase for the avid book reader.

People in the business of spreading their faith have been scrambling to get cheaper, smaller, and more affordable Bibles so that they can order them in bulk and get them to as many people as possible.

You see the thin paper in a few other religious books and tracts and thick pamphlets but most people dislike it because of how cheap and flimsy it feels. shelf space isn't exactly a concern for most buyers either

Because bible paper is horrible, there is a reason we use proper paper for books that people actually read.

It sticks together, tears easily, and is too translucent. Some old encyclopedias were printed on India paper (ie bible paper), so were the collected works of various authors, and the French Pléiade books.

Not him, but every time I go to Amazon to read book reviews, no matter which book I look at, there are multiple reviews talking about how fucked up the Kindle edition is, how it's filled with errors, etc.

Definitely depending on the publisher. It makes downloading books a pain in the ass. There are some real shitty ebooks floating around.
