On average how long do you read on your spare time /lit/? I find anything over an hour straight and I tend to drift off.
Depends, my free time after work is literally only reading, rarely watching films and some shitposting but not too much.
Usually what I do is read a chapter and then take a look at the threads that interest me (if there are any at all) for a couple of minutes then back to another chapter but I can read for hours without problem.

Has it always been like that for you or did you build towards it? I would love to read for hours but I feel like my brain doesn't let me. I find myself rereading quite frequently once I hit a certain point.

It's like running, you just have to build towards it. Plus, when you find a good book, you don't want to stop reading.
>mfw can't read more than 20 pages a day
am i, dare i say it, actually retarded?

I don't know, I've read books all my life basically so it just built up by itself throughout the years I guess.

Most likely.
If you find yourself pausing movies every 10minutes to shitpost as well you surely are.

I'm a coward desu
I can read for hours and hours if the subject material is easy to read. If it is complex, then I find it very hard to read too much of it for more than sometimes even thirty minutes at a time.
12 or so hours
I never sleep. I'll sleep when I'm dead. So I read. And micro nap in between chapters.

Only way people could do that is if you were a NEET

I hate reading for less than an hour. The only way I get any reading done anymore is to sit in the library for a few hours with some coffee and power through half a book at a time.
