Why don't you just finish the story and let someone else decide if it's enjoyable or not? Sometimes people want to read nostalgic bullshit nonsense with plain political subplots and characters who sound like anime lamers.

Depends on how you present it. If it's just your thoughts on the difficulty of writing, probably not; but if you wrote the interesting tale of a struggling author, using his/her writing as a sort of structure for a larger story, it might be worth a read
