I end up using Barnes and Noble gift cards to get rarer books that I otherwise would have a difficult time finding through a cheaper means (my main go-to being Thriftbooks). For instance, I recently ordered An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Paris by Georges Perec because I couldn't find a cheaper version elsewhere.
TLDR: Don't waste it on stupid shit you can buy anywhere for 2-3 dollars used.

Buy another Barnes and Noble gift card but lose a little each time due to tax until you run out of money on the card.
