Is A Game of Thrones a good book for someone who has never read a book fully before?
I bought the collection because they were really cheap.
Other books I've been gifted over time but haven't read include:
1Q84, Misery and The Great Gatsby.

GoT is a great beginning I guess. Light entertainment written for plebs, who by nature have a short attention span. If you don't mind having to read tons of food describtion, GoT could be something to get you used to reading longer books.
Don't expect a masterpiece thou.
