This in spades op if youre actually going to read it. Moore said when working in comics he'd exhaustively describe what he wanted to be represented visually. Obviously with this novel he doesn't have the liberty of that so he's very deliberate in describing things,some people would hate it but I love how he describes things. Probably also helps if you're British or Irish reading with characters speech written in dialect phonetically
