I read pic related last time I tried to get into reading, it was great. I tried to follow it up with a non-fiction, 'useful' book, got bored, and spent 2 years on /mu/. I want to try to get into reading again. I'll read literally any book as long as it's engaging. Where do I start?

start with the hardest thing you're interested in and if you fail start lower and work your way up. it will give you a goal. the first book I tried to read was ulyssess like 10 years ago because I heard it was the best. 60 pages in and I wasn't comprehending shit. but I wanted to read it. goals.

Here is a grand list of every book I have ever read, and how much I liked them:
Series of unfortunete events - read em as a kid, loved em. Tried to read them again later to reignite an interest in books, found them too simplistic.
Harry Potter - again, I liked it but I was young
Foundation triology - genuinly gripping.
A bunch of shit for my politics and philosophy uni course, foucualt and Mill and Kant and shit - interesting ideas that I feel would have just as interesting and a lot less time-wasting if presented in bullet points.
And thats more or less it. I don't know what books I like. Please just gimme somewhere to start. Unless you were talking about what I like in general. In which case imma say music and gay porn and the feeling you have when your mum gets in from work and looks genuinly pleased to see you.
Dune or The Book of the New Sun t b h
If you'd rather stay away from more genre fiction then check the chart, but don't start with any verse or pomo unless you want to have a good time
