if youre looking for something academic theres Phaedo, and anything about amor fati or the eternal recurrence.

Holy books are always there too.

If you're just looking for something cathartic A Death in the Family by James Agee could be a good place to start. I think death is dealt with very gracefully in The Princess of Cleves as well.
