What the fuck is this book? It's so full of contradictions

Kafka's "dream logic" revolves around combining steps which are locally sensible to create something which is globally absurd. The contradictions are intended, but you're supposed to reach them via a sequence of sensible steps.

No, I don't really get this at all, Kafka is a breeze to read, he's always so precise and funny. He often had to laugh out loud while reading to his friends. It's grotesque and hopeless but every tableau in The Trial is perfect in its comedic timing; it could be made into a really twisted Marx Brothers movie.
