Pretty sure it's more of about fucking with the natural order of things, which your examples are an aspect of. Macbeth's fatal flaw is that he usurps the crown and plunges both himself and the kingdom into chaos. You get a lot of this Great Chain of Being propaganda in Shakespeare plays, especially Hamlet.

I assumed he was referencing clytemnestra's assumption of masculinity in agemmemnon, and insinuating that killing and war is the domain of men and that a woman, in becoming a murderer is becoming masculine. (there are also obvious parallels in the inevitability of fate/no good moves scenario themes)
Likewise, Macbeth had grown powerful enough that only mcduffs prophecy subverting birth truly represented enough masculine power that he could defeat him.
