Does /lit/ use reading stands to maximize comfiness and keep that neck in an upright position? Do you have any preferred stands? I'm trying to find one that can hold thinner books in place, because my old piece of shit can't fasten the pages appropriately.
I can't believe I'm the only one who uses this stuff.

I guess so, but that stand did remind me of that gadget that the chick made in the movie Real Genius, so that's cool.

Damn pity, I want to find a new stand and thought /lit/ would be able to recommend me some stuff. Oh well, back to Amazon reviews.
not familiar with them, but seems like it'd be easy enough to make your own

I made a makeshift stand on my desk by placing it upright against my textbooks, and putting any object heavy enough at the base to keep it from sliding down
It's janky as fuck but it works and is comfy

I make a makeshift stand using my hands to open and keep open a book by pressing my fingers on it in a number of configurations.
I've got one of these, makes reading in bed comfier, and can be used for other situations too. Only works for certain books, stiff cheap brand new paperbacks tend not to sit well. They're fucking expensive, but I work at a charity shop and managed to get one that someone donated almost brand new.
Other than that I've got some wooden one I use for textbooks on my desk.
I'd recommend the desk one, for textbooks. They make life easier if you're studying.
For general reading though it's probably not worth it, I still just use my hands most of the time.
lol no.
That is the gayest thing I've ever seen.
And I've seen gay porn.
