Why not just keep it in your coat pocket? That's what I do when I bring my books into work, stops them getting damp too and somehow the corners don't get bent despite being shoved in there.

I think I've missed out on some new meme. This last week when I'm walking down the street people have been shouting things like " Get out of my country, wet book!" or "The wall's comin', wet book!". Quite bewildering.
