While I cannot speak for Sartre, as far as Nietzsche is concerned, the man developed his Liebensphilosophie to over come his ailments. If any of us were in his position, we would be whining and weeping.
Furthermore, if one was in such a pitiful state, one would, as Nietzsche did, seek out the ancients like Epicurus. If life is suffering, and one ought to escape suffering, one must embrace it and make use of it.

There shouldn't be a stigma around people who were Nazis. The horrific crimes comitted by Hitler were not made known - even to high ranking officials of the army, let alone citizens - until after the war was over.

With the crimes out of the way, what did the Nazi party actually represent for Germany? What is national socialism? What were the core ideas that followers of Nazism in Germany during Hitlers reign believe in? And why are these core ideas discrediting to anyone?
