can we discuss this man? I've already read most of his well-known work, and a smattering of others. love the mood he creates but idk if there's anything else to it, or if I'm missing smt. before you shitpost, can anyone shed some light on some deeper meaning in his work/clarify what is means to be kafkaesque? why not just say absurd? or am I wrong?

Take this rebbitesque thread back to redbbt with you, faggot
>>8702881
Kafkaesque is generally used in the case of a pointless, complex bureaucratic system, but the meaninglessness does link nicely with the idea of the absurd.
What is the distinction between kafkaesque and byzantine?

Considering reddit may be a smarter place than lit I may have to

God damnit /lit/ would you rather get high off of your own neck-beard fumes or discuss literature on a literature board. This is why I don't visit 4chan anymore. Fucking plebs everywhere up in here.
It was a decent thread OP maybe the discussion seemed too shallow to the pseuds of lit. Maybe try again another time making a thread about a specific Kafka work, because I think this ones done for.

They are impressively not smarter.
I find it odd that all these years 4chan was the unironic height of intellectual public discussion.
this is what "intellectualism" looks like in real life:

Parliamentary debate being made weird by Americans is no surprise.
