How do you people read so fast?
I can't read outside my house, since I feel extremely uncomfortable with people peeking over my shoulder or looking at my book cover of 120 days of sodom and I can't concentrate with all the hussle and bussle and constant changing of vehicle and catching bus's etc., so I read all my time at home which makes the process of reading very slow
To give you an idea of my speed, The Plague took me nearly a month to read
And here people say that they read two doorholders a week

Funny, for me it's the other way around. I only get most of my reading done in public transport because there's too much shit distracting me at home. The majority of people doesn't really care what you're reading.

Read for an hour before you go to bed, and in the morning after your coffee

>120 days of sodom
Perhaps you should try reading something else then.
it's okay to read slowly. Instead of getting into speed reading bullshit it's more important to just learn to sit down, focus, and make time for reading.

I take the metro. Most people are either busy with their phones, reading themselves or just stare out the window. Sure, people might have a quick look at what you're reading but that's it, they're just bored. I've read 120 days myself in public and nobody gave a shit.

>I always get glances
Doesn't mean they care, just means yhey're bored.
