>In the first chapter of the book, Kochan recalls a memory of a picture book from when he was four years old. Even at that young age, Kochan approached a single picture of a heroic-looking European knight on horseback almost as pornography, gazing at it longingly and hiding it away, embarrassed, when others come to see what he is doing. When his nurse tells him that the knight is actuallyJoan of Arc, Kochan, wanting the knight to be a paragon of manliness, is immediately and forever put off by the picture, annoyed that a woman would dress in man’s clothing.
This is eerily similar to an incident from my own childhood. I'm almost a little disturbed.
Eustace Chisholm and the Works
Great book about men in Depression-era Chicago coming to grips with who they are, while getting their asses kicked by the difficulties of having no money, no jobs, etc. Weirdly and funnily redpilled about women, too.
On one hand, probably the gayest book I've ever read (although that's not saying much, since I haven't read many/any books with homo relationships). On the other hand, it's not out-and-out yaoi shit -- it reads more like film noir and all the sexual tension and drama that that genre had, just directed towards the men themselves.

That's good, I hate straight up yaoi shit. My ideal book is sexual tension between men which may or may not culminate in tastefully written sex, with some red-pill about women thrown in (Dorian Gray is always my go-to example). I'll get a copy.
Has anyone in the thread read the OP pic and what can they tell me about it?
