He did create a basis for current psychology in some ways though. I'm going to sit here and pretend he founded the science or anything, but its one of those cases where without his theories we never would have learned what we learned. Like Newton, whose theories break down at the quantum level but without whom we would have no basis for understanding quantum physics.
